Are you looking for a charming place to get together with friends, family or colleagues? Our spacious barn in the square farm of De Zwarte Stok is the perfect setting for a cozy group stay, without the classic B&B breakfast, but with all the comfort and freedom.
De Grote Schuur is perfect for families, groups of friends or small associations who want to enjoy peace, cosiness and the charm of Haspengouw in Limburg together. De Grote Schuur has several rooms and can accommodate groups of up to 16 people. Enjoying together in our farmhouse
The large barn accommodates a group that likes to organize everything themselves. Upon arrival, the beds are made and the rooms warmly welcoming. Bath linens bring your own.
The cozy breakfast room with fireplace and the fully equipped cooking workshop are entirely at your disposal. Ideal for a sumptuous dinner, a meal together or brunch at the large table in the courtyard. The Nespresso is ready with a welcome coffee or would you prefer a regional beer from our Honesty bar?

In addition to dining and catching up, there is also room for fun:
– Large garden with cozy sitting areas and a view of the Riemst fields with at 100 m a nice playground for young and old.
– The multipurpose room features a large screen, perfect for a quiz, presentation or movie night. In the TV corner between the rooms, you can follow your favorite sport.
– We provide board games and reading material for young and old.
– Fancy a cozy BBQ? You can rent a charcoal BBQ or Ofyr.
The large barn of De Zwarte Stok is located in the quiet Millen (Riemst)near Tongeren and Maastricht, in the heart of the beautiful Haspengouw.

Capacity & rooms
- Cozy group accommodation in the spacious large barn of our square farmhouse to 16 people consisting of two floors and some rooms are therefore less suitable for people with mobility problems.
- Room allocation:
- 1x 4-person room with 2 separate bedrooms and one shared bathroom
- 2x triple rooms
- 4x double rooms including 2 on the ground floor
- Beds made on arrival
- Each bedroom has private bathroom and air conditioning
Kitchen & Dining Area
- Professional cooking studio with dishes, glasses, cutlery, large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher
- Cozy breakfast area/dining room
- Nespresso, Dolce Gusto and filter coffee makers
- BBQ rental: Weber or Ofyr: Please let us know when booking.
- Weber: Charcoal and firelighters can be provided by you or obtained from us at an additional cost. Please pass this on when booking.
- Ofyr: We are laying out wood and accessories for you.
( Please do not take your own wood from our stock, it is drying. )

Personalized welcome & guidance
- Check – in: I can personally receive you between 16:00 and 18:00. If you wish to arrive later, please let me know
know. Directions and key instructions can be delivered in advance.
We always try to welcome you personally upon arrival with tips tailored to the group (cycling routes, excursions, dining addresses…)
- Check- out: checkout before 11:00 a.m., on Sunday you may stay until 5:00 p.m.

- Covered, enclosed bicycle storage with charging stations for electric bicycles.

- This is not a party hall or party location. We ask respect for the tranquility and livability of our environment.
