The Cannerbos was once laid out as a star-shaped forest, with avenues radiating outward from fixed points. Nature has gradually taken over the design, but old oak trees and parts of the avenue pattern still serve as reminders of that past.
In the spring, wood anemones blanket large swaths of the forest floor in white. Throughout the year, the forest offers shade, tranquility, and beautiful connections to the Jekerdal and Château Neercanne.
